From vacancy to structured evidence, in eight steps.
- 01
Create a vacancy
Add the job title, department, a short role description and employment type. This gives every scenario in the assessment realistic context.
- 02
Choose the role level
Pick from Foundational, Experienced, Team, Business, or Strategic Responsibility — based on the scope of the role, not its job title or where it sits on an org chart. The level shapes scenario complexity, organisational context and which behaviours are even available — a Strategic Responsibility assessment draws on a genuinely different scenario set to a Foundational one, not the same content reworded.
- 03
Select behaviours
We recommend behaviours automatically based on the role level, with Integrity, Judgement & Decision Making and Accountability & Ownership strongly suggested as foundational. Choose around 5–7 in total, and mark up to a few as high importance.
- 04
Choose the assessment length
Pick Quick Screen, Professional or Comprehensive depending on how much time you want to ask of candidates and how much evidence you need. This is independent of your package — package sets candidate volume, this sets assessment depth.
- 05
Review the assessment profile
See exactly how the assessment will be built — which behaviours, how many scenarios, how scoring will be weighted — before you commit to a package.
- 06
Purchase and invite candidates
Choose a package sized to your candidate volume, then generate a secure invitation link or send email invitations directly. The assessment version is fixed the moment the first candidate is invited, so nothing changes underneath candidates mid-process.
- 07
Candidates complete the assessment
Candidates see a calm, accessible welcome page, a practice scenario, then the scored assessment — behavioural preference statements followed by realistic workplace scenarios, each with four independently-rated actions. No score is shown to candidates unless you choose to share a basic summary.
- 08
Review structured results
As candidates complete the assessment, view behavioural scores, a plain-English narrative summary, and 3–5 interview prompts generated from each candidate's own response pattern — plus comparison and blind-review tools on our higher-volume packages.
